How Saywick stacks up.

We checked the prices and features of the platforms agencies use most. Here's where we win, where we match, and where someone else is the better choice.

Saywick versus running WordPress yourself

WordPress can do almost anything, but every job below is yours to set up, pay for and keep running, on every client's site.

11,334 new WordPress security holes were reported in 2025.

About 91% were in plugins, and 46% had no fix when they were disclosed. Source: Patchstack, State of WordPress Security in 2026.

To be fair to WordPress

It has a plugin for nearly everything and a huge community. WordPress.com also looks after core updates and hosting for you, so the upkeep gap is smaller there than with self-hosting.

Saywick versus other website platforms

The rows where we're ahead come first. We've kept the ones where we only match, and the one where we're behind.

Checked in October 2026 from each company's own pages and published reviews. "Not confirmed" and "Not found" mean we looked and couldn't confirm it either way. Prices and features change often; if something here is out of date, tell us and we'll fix it. Competitor prices are their yearly-billed rates.

What 20 client sites cost each month

Platforms that bill per site get more expensive with every client you add. Saywick's Agency plan stays at $199 up to 100 sites.

Dorik costs less

At $79 a month billed yearly ($99 monthly) it's the cheapest flat price we found. It doesn't sell domains, and we found no way to connect it to Claude or ChatGPT.

AI is included

The Agency plan includes $300 of AI writing and design each month. Several AI site builders charge credits for every edit.

When Saywick isn't the right fit

We'd rather tell you now. Saywick is made for the websites of small businesses: services, venues, shops on the high street, clinics and studios.

  • Online shops with a cart and checkout. Saywick doesn't sell products. Use a shop platform, or link to one.
  • Web apps with logins and a database. That's a job for a developer platform.
  • Sites built on embedded widgets. Live pages don't run third-party scripts, apart from analytics, so link to tools like booking pages instead of embedding them.
  • Hand-written code. Sites are built from sections. You can add custom HTML, but not scripts.
